Browser Extension

D[AI]NGEN Browser Extension
Access model: Private access
The Browser Extension is the current D[AI]NGEN product surface.
It is the first concrete implementation of the D[AI]NGEN security-boundary model for browser-based AI interactions.
The current private-access build includes narrow validated behaviors for covered browser evaluation, upload, text-inspection, and decision flows.
Broad capability categories remain unchanged unless the entire category is separately verified.
Validated browser behaviors
VALIDATED
Standard-profile evaluation
The current Browser Extension evaluation runs in the user’s standard Chrome profile.
Applies to the current private-access evaluation. It does not establish support for other browsers or managed-profile deployment models.
VALIDATED
Session persistence
The validated Browser Extension evaluation remains operational across browser restart and user-session recovery.
Validated for the current evaluation environment. This is not a general persistence or recovery guarantee across every operating system or enterprise configuration.
VALIDATED
Protection connectivity check
The evaluated Browser Extension checks connectivity with the local protection layer before reporting a connected protection state.
Describes a validated status-check behavior in the current evaluation. It is not a claim of uninterrupted enforcement or public network control-plane availability.
VALIDATED
Approved-resource boundary
In the validated evaluation flow, an approved resource can enter the protected AI workflow while a resource outside the approved boundary is denied.
Limited to the approved-boundary behavior shown in the evaluation. It does not establish universal policy enforcement across every resource, destination, or browser flow.
VALIDATED
Pre-send file review
In covered browser upload flows, a selected file can be held for review before the AI site receives it.
Validation covered selected AI Browser workflows in Chrome. This does not establish coverage for every browser, AI destination, upload path, or file type.
VALIDATED
Text-file inspection
Supported text files can be inspected for configured sensitive-content patterns before a send decision.
Validated for supported text-file flows. This does not establish extraction or classification for PDF, Office, image, or every other file format.
VALIDATED
Explicit unknown-risk handling
Unsupported file formats are identified as unanalyzed and can require a separate explicit send decision.
Validation included .xlsx and .pdf examples in the alpha evaluation. This does not create a DLP claim for those formats.
VALIDATED
No silent original fallback
If the selected file cannot be reviewed or returned through the approved path, the evaluated flow can stop the send rather than silently pass the original file.
Applies to the covered upload paths evaluated in the alpha matrix. This is not a universal network-blocking guarantee.
VALIDATED
Configured decision outcomes
Configured sensitive-content findings can produce allow, redact, ask-first, or block outcomes in evaluated text and file flows.
This is limited to configured patterns in evaluated flows. It does not establish a complete enterprise policy engine or universal AI policy enforcement.
VALIDATED
Redacted copy option
For supported text findings, the evaluated flow can produce a redacted copy for sending rather than transmitting the original content.
Limited to supported text content and configured pattern handling. It does not guarantee detection or redaction of every format or sensitive-data type.
VALIDATED
Decision records
Evaluated inspection decisions can create an audit record without reproducing the detected secret content.
This is a narrow audit behavior, not a claim of complete auditability, SIEM integration, or enterprise log management.
VALIDATED
Product-state consistency
The current evaluation validates central and endpoint product-state signals before presenting the environment as ready or protected.
Applies to the evaluated product-state flow only. It does not establish a public SaaS control plane or enterprise-wide management availability.
The following behaviors are validated in a specific scope. Their scope notes are part of the public claim.
Validation covered selected Browser AI workflows in the alpha evaluation. It does not establish universal browser, provider, file-type, or network coverage.
Discovery & Classification
VERIFIED · REVIEW_WORKFLOW
D[AI]NGEN Discovery & Classification
Local scan and administrator-review workflow
Discovery surfaces AI-relevant files, folders, categories, and sensitivity signals locally, then groups what needs attention by review state.
The visible workflow supports scan/re-scan, review states, items needing review, and items awaiting decision.
Discovery recommends only. Administrator validation is required before policy effect; it does not authorize access or enforce by itself.

PREVIEW · PACKAGED_RELEASE
D[AI]NGEN Desktop
Packaged release launched: October 21, 2026
D[AI]NGEN Desktop extends the same security-boundary direction beyond browser-based AI interactions.
The current Windows Preview is functioning and its core access-boundary behavior has been validated in the evaluated environment.
The current Alpha RC validation has been completed in the evaluated product environment. The packaged Desktop release launched on October 21, 2026 for qualified deployments with guided installation; this does not establish self-service distribution or general availability.
The D[AI]NGEN Desktop packaged release launched on October 21, 2026 and is available for qualified deployments with guided installation. Its technical maturity remains Preview.
The packaged release is available now for qualified deployments. Self-service distribution and fleet-scale production readiness are not claimed.
A custom installation or demonstration does not imply:
- general availability;
- production readiness;
- public download availability;
- validation of every internal architecture concept.
The packaged release was explicitly launched on October 21, 2026. Technical Preview maturity remains separate from distribution scope.
Validated Desktop Preview behaviors
VALIDATED
Time-limited Workspace grants
The Desktop Preview can make selected local resources available through an authorized Workspace rather than treating the user’s full filesystem access as AI access.
Validated in a Windows alpha environment for selected resources. This does not imply general endpoint isolation, universal filesystem support, or production readiness.
VALIDATED
Workspace lifecycle controls
Workspace resources can be added, removed, extended, expired, and stopped in the evaluated Preview workflow.
Validated for the alpha Workspace lifecycle. Documented limits remain, including some cross-volume and open-file-handle constraints.
VALIDATED
Verified Workspace cleanup
The evaluated Desktop Preview workflow verifies cleanup after a Workspace session is stopped.
Specific to the validated Workspace lifecycle. This does not create a universal endpoint-isolation or forensic guarantee.
VALIDATED
Protected-session verification
The Windows Desktop Preview verifies a protected-session state before reporting an AI workflow as protected.
Validated for the current Windows Preview evaluation. This does not make Desktop generally available or establish production deployment readiness.
VALIDATED
Restart recovery
The validated Windows Preview recovers endpoint protection components and product state after Windows restart.
Specific to the validated Windows Preview environment. It is not a general resilience, compatibility, or enterprise-management claim.
VALIDATED
Readiness and recovery checks
Browser and Desktop readiness, reset, restart, reboot, and protected-session checks have been exercised in the current evaluation environment.
This is scoped reliability evidence for the evaluated environments only. It does not establish enterprise-wide reliability, managed deployment support, or universal compatibility.
VALIDATED
Alpha RC validation
The current Alpha RC validation has been completed in the evaluated product environment.
Alpha RC validation is scoped to the evaluated build and does not establish general availability, production readiness, installer availability, or fleet-scale deployment.
The following behaviors are validated only in the current Desktop Preview evaluation scope.
They do not change Desktop availability or establish production readiness.
