BROWSER EXTENSION AVAILABLE NOW · DESKTOP PREVIEW
Clear answers about D[AI]NGEN, product availability, the security model, Browser Extension, Desktop, and current product scope.
What is D[AI]NGEN?
D[AI]NGEN is building a security boundary between enterprise data and AI. It is based on the principle that access granted to a user should not automatically become access granted to an AI application or agent.
What does “AI access is not user access” mean?
An employee may legitimately be authorized to access enterprise information. The AI application or agent they use operates in a different context and should not automatically inherit the same authorization. D[AI]NGEN treats AI access as a separate security decision.
Is D[AI]NGEN available today?
The D[AI]NGEN Browser Extension is available through private access. The D[AI]NGEN Desktop packaged release launched on October 21, 2026 and is available for qualified deployments with guided installation; its technical maturity remains Preview.
What is the D[AI]NGEN Browser Extension?
The Browser Extension is the current D[AI]NGEN product surface and the first concrete implementation of the D[AI]NGEN security-boundary model for browser-based AI interactions.
The current private-access build includes validated file-review behavior in covered AI-site workflows. Broader capability categories remain subject to verification before they are presented as shipping features.
What does “validated behavior” mean?
A validated behavior is a narrow product statement supported by evidence in a specific flow or environment.
It does not upgrade the broader capability category. For example, a covered browser upload flow can be described without claiming universal browser, provider, file-type, or network coverage.
Does the current evaluation maintain product state?
The current Browser Extension evaluation remains operational across browser restart and user-session recovery.
The validated Windows Desktop Preview separately recovers endpoint protection components and product state after Windows restart.
These are scoped evaluation behaviors, not general persistence or enterprise-resilience guarantees.
How can I access the Browser Extension?
Access is currently provided through private access.
Use the Request Access action on the website to contact D[AI]NGEN.
Why is the Browser Extension private access?
Private access keeps product discussions aligned with the behavior of the current validated build while documentation and the evaluation experience continue to mature.
It is a controlled evaluation process, not a claim that broader access is already available.
What happens during a D[AI]NGEN evaluation?
An evaluation is a product discussion focused on the current product surface, the security-boundary model, and the behavior validated for the available build.
It should not be treated as proof of unpublished capabilities or future product surfaces.
What is D[AI]NGEN Desktop?
D[AI]NGEN Desktop extends the D[AI]NGEN security-boundary concept beyond browser-based AI interactions and into endpoint-level workflows.
It is available today through custom assisted installation. Its technical maturity remains Preview.
Is D[AI]NGEN Desktop available today?
Yes. The D[AI]NGEN Desktop packaged release launched on October 21, 2026 and is available for qualified deployments with guided installation. Its technical maturity remains Preview.
What does guided Desktop deployment include?
Guided deployment installs the packaged Desktop release with D[AI]NGEN assistance in a qualified environment, applying the behavior validated at Preview maturity.
It does not constitute self-service distribution, general availability, production readiness at enterprise scale, or unrestricted deployment.
When did the packaged Desktop release launch?
The packaged D[AI]NGEN Desktop release launched on October 21, 2026 and is available for qualified deployments with guided installation.
Does D[AI]NGEN block AI?
D[AI]NGEN is not positioned as a blanket ban on AI.
Its security model is based on making AI access a separate decision rather than assuming that AI should inherit everything a user can access.
In evaluated browser file-upload flows, an unverified review or delivery path can stop the original file from being sent. That is a narrow validated behavior, not a universal network-blocking guarantee.
What do ALLOW, REDACT, and DENY mean?
ALLOW, REDACT, and DENY are decision outcomes used in the public D[AI]NGEN conceptual security model.
ALLOW represents permitting an interaction. REDACT represents removing sensitive content before continuing. DENY represents preventing an interaction.
These terms describe the conceptual security model. They do not mean every underlying implementation is currently a verified shipping capability.
What information can influence a D[AI]NGEN security decision?
The public conceptual model identifies Identity, Data, Destination, and Policy as relevant security context.
Individual technical capabilities behind those concepts are only presented as shipping functionality when verified.
Does D[AI]NGEN replace IAM, DLP, EDR, or other enterprise security products?
D[AI]NGEN is focused on the security boundary between enterprise data and AI access.
It should not currently be described as a replacement for IAM, DLP, EDR, or other established enterprise-security categories.
Which AI workflows are currently validated?
Current Browser validation covers selected workflows with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Mode.
This is the current evaluation scope, not a universal provider-support matrix. Coverage varies by product surface, workflow, file type, and configured behavior.
Which browsers are supported?
A broad browser-support matrix has not yet been published.
Current alpha validation covered the browser extension flow in Chrome. That does not establish support for Edge, Firefox, Safari, or other browsers.
What file types are covered?
Supported text files can be inspected for configured sensitive-content patterns in evaluated flows.
Unsupported formats can be identified as unanalyzed and require a separate explicit send decision in the evaluated flow.
This does not establish extraction, classification, or protection for every file format.
Does D[AI]NGEN upload enterprise data?
Public data-handling guarantees depend on the specific D[AI]NGEN product surface and validated implementation.
D[AI]NGEN does not make a global data-processing claim until that behavior has been verified and documented.
For evaluated deployments or demonstrations, contact D[AI]NGEN for the current validated product details.
Is D[AI]NGEN SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?
D[AI]NGEN does not currently publish SOC 2, ISO 27001, penetration-test, or similar certification claims.
Trust and security materials will be published only when completed and verified.
Does D[AI]NGEN have an API?
D[AI]NGEN does not currently advertise a public API.
Technical and integration documentation will be published as interfaces become validated and appropriate for public use.
Where can I find documentation?
The public Docs page contains the current product status, terminology, security model, and links to the available product documentation.
More detailed technical documentation will be added as product behavior and interfaces are verified.
How can I report a security issue?
Send security reports to: contact@daingen.app
Include enough information to help D[AI]NGEN understand and reproduce the issue, and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
