Packaged release deployment
The packaged Desktop release is available for qualified deployments with guided installation on request.
Deployments are guided by D[AI]NGEN in qualified environments and apply the behavior validated at the current Preview maturity.
A custom installation does not mean that Desktop is:
- generally available;
- production-ready;
- publicly downloadable;
- approved for unrestricted deployment.

Time-limited Workspace grants
The Desktop Preview can make selected local resources available through an authorized Workspace rather than treating the user’s full filesystem access as AI access.

Workspace resources can be added, removed, extended, expired, and stopped in the evaluated Preview workflow.
